1803 (Hucknall) Squadron ATC
Royal Air Force Air Cadets
A warm welcome to the 1803 (Hucknall) Squadron Air Training Corps' website. Our Squadron is based in Hucknall on the Rolls Royce site.
The Air Cadets a military youth organisation offering the widest range of opportunities than any other youth organisation. We are open to all young people aged 12 (and in year 8) - 19 years old to develop exciting new skills in a safe, lively and fun environment. Activities include flying, gliding, target shooting and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme; you can find our information on more opportunities on the 'What We Do' section.
Training is delivered by highly motivated and committed uniform staff and civilian instructors made up of volunteers (some of whom have military backgrounds).
Our Squadron parades every Monday and Wednesday evening from 18:45 - 21:00.
Please click the 'Join Us' button above if you are interested in joining us as a cadet or even an adult volunteer, or visit the contact form if you have any queries.
We have a wide range of activities for our cadets to participate in, including Flying & Gliding, Shooting and Drill. No matter what you're interested in, there is something for you! Within the different activities, you can progress through the Corps' Progressive Training Syllabus which gets more advanced as you complete each tier. For example with the Flying & Gliding, you can learn how to fly an aircraft and complete a solo circuit.
